This week in literacy we started the week writing a diary entry as the Queen after her birthday party! It sounded like she had a fantastic time! Later in the week we looked at information texts and created our own information sheets on dinosaurs! We will go back to our Julia Donaldson topic next week ready for our trip!
This week in maths we have focused on learning our times tables. Most of us have got quick at our twos and are therefore working on the five and ten. Some of us are getting good at our threes! The expectation for the end of KS1 is that all children know their 2,5,10 and 3 times tables. This is something you can continue to practice at home.
We have started to sew our toy dinosaurs this week! It has taken a lot of concentration but many of us have used the blanket stitch. The dinosaurs are looking great and we can’t wait to finish them off over the next few weeks!
A massive well done to Phoebe is now going to the RED TED tea party and Kurtis who now has his RED TED cap. There is still time to get enough reads in to go to the RED TED tea party at the end of term, keep reading!
Molly and Monty had a brilliant time with Miami and Tyler. They practiced working out the correct change, adding, subtracting and weighing! Molly and Monty have gone home with Oliver and Jimmy this weekend.
