This week in literacy we have read a range of Julia Donaldson books and reviewed them. We marked them out of 5 and then chose our favourite book to write a book review of.
On Friday we wrote very special invitation to the Queen’s birthday party! It sounds like the Queen is going to have quite a party!
In maths this week we have focused on problem solving. We had a range of word problems to solve, some of us moved on to two step word problems.
Well done to all of Mrs Cryan’s class for a fantastic class assembly. An extra big well done to all the children to took on other children’s parts. We enjoyed it and we hope you did too!

Molly and Monty are well rested after their holiday and have gone home with Miami and Tyler this weekend.
The children had great fun learning to skateboard this week! They all did really well and picked it up very quickly. We all had an amazing time and are very thankful to FOSA for funding the event.
This week Daisy brought in a dinosaur egg for us to watch hatch! Firstly we put the egg into water and over the week we watched it slowly hatch. On Friday the dinosaur was fully hatched! We were all hoping it had 4 legs and was a herbivore as we didn’t want our toes being nibbled!
