What an exciting week!
We had great excitement this week when we walked into the classroom in the morning and discovered it had been decorated! We were left a note to read, we soon learnt that it was good elves that had done the decorating. The note explained that the children needed to practise their descriptive writing in case the naughty elves came. The only way to catch the naughty elves is to be really good at descriptive writing to make a wanted poster! We all worked really hard and most children included a simile in their work. We hope the naughty elves don’t visit us next week…!
A massive well done to those who earned their RED TED rewards this week. Keep reading to try and get another reward before the holidays!
Maths monkey had a great time with Oliver and Freya. They have not gone home this week as they have started their holidays early but will be returning in the new year!
WOW, WOW, WOW! Mrs Cryan was completely blown away by everyone’s Great Fire of London project. So much time, care and effort had been put in, thank you!
RemindersWe have all been practising lots for the KS1 production next week. We are looking forward to seeing lots of you there.
It is the Christmas church service on Thursday at 9.30am.
On Friday the children can bring in a toy to play with. The toy shouldn't be anything electrical, valuable or have small parts as they may get broken or lost! Please can all toys come in a named carrier bag and not before Friday!
