W/C 26th June

This week in literacy we have been busy writing a recount of our class trip before moving back to our topic on Julia Donaldson and writing a book review of our favourite book.

This week in maths we have recapped division and the method we use before moving on to division with remainders. We now know that remainders means parts left over. Later in the week, we used our new knowledge to solve division word problems.

After lots of concentration, patience and hard work most of us have finished sewing our toy dinosaurs! We think you’ll agree they look great!

Keep reading to earn those stamps, the RED TED tea party will be in the last week of term!

Dinosaur Park
We had an amazing time on Monday at the Dinosaur Adventure Park on Monday. We were very lucky with the weather! Once we arrived, we split up into our groups and went exploring, finding out lots of facts to complete our information booklets. We explored the Dinosaur Maze, Dinosaur Trail, Neanderthal walk and the Animal Garden. After lunch we all got to dig for fossils! As always, Mrs Cryan was very impressed with everyone’s behaviour and attitude.

Class assembly

A massive well done to everyone for working so hard on their amazing class assembly. It was fantastic to see so many adults there, thank you for coming! We hope you enjoyed it!
